Emily was all dressed up for a cust dinner but got teased by us for looking like a flight attendant... (she looked very good actually)

So she played along & pretend to be serving passengers on a plane.

Oh I MUST gush about the CAKE!!! (no photo coz fatcat gobbled it all up)

Layers of Vanilla sponge cake topped with fresh cream & strawberries. In the sponge cake are layers of custard pudding & yam ...hmmm ... pure heaven.

3 weddings and...

Within a period of 2 weeks, 3 people I know got married.
And 3 people I know divorced.

I have never thought of divorces as painful. To me if 2 people can't get along, why not just split?

I have been a part of so many weddings, Each time I witness 1st hand the joy, happiness & hope that goes into planning a wedding. To have a marriage end up in divorce must indeed be painful.

No wonder divorced men come with so much baggage.

South Taiwan homecooked food

This trip was during CNY - David (my team-mate) & I paid Lunchia a visit to her hometown in Jiayi (Her parents' home is a MANSION ... complete with an ELEVATOR). I was itching to take photographs, but had to exercise restraint in front of her parents.
I finally know how Lunchia turned out to be such a great person. It's the result of an excellent upbringing.

We were treated to a superb home cooked meal by Lunchia's mom.
Reminded me so much of my mom's cooking . Southern Taiwanese moms are all alike...?

okok MY MOMMY'S COOKING IS BETTER OF COURSE!!!

After the meal we went for a walk at the nearby Jiayi park.
